Mary, Help of Christians is a Primary School which caters for girls from Junior Infants through to 6th class and has approximately 400 children on roll.
Our school dates from 1848 and was one of the first National Schools in Ireland. It was originally located in the Phoenix Park, where The Phoenix Park School is now situated. At that time, it was called St. Philomena’s School. As the parish of Our Lady Help of Christians grew, the school moved to its present site and was renamed Mary, Help of Christians.
Our school motto is: Creideamh, Dóchas, Grá.
