Mary, Help of Christians GNS has been involved with the Weave Project with Dublin City University since 2021. Weave aimed to support our teachers in developing culturally responsive computational thinking skills to enhance teaching and learning in the primary school classroom. Our pupils really enjoyed using robotics and learning code to program throughout the whole project, culminating in two very successful showcase events in June 2022 and 2023 in DCU. Our experience has allowed us to develop how we use all of the technology in our school including iPads, Beebots, Microbits, Scratch and LEGO robotics.
