This month, 6th Class visited Glasnevin Cemetery as part of their history learning. We have been studying Daniel O'Connell, Catholic Emancipation, and how he founded the cemetery.
During the visit, we also saw the graves of many important Irish historical figures, including Michael Collins, Éamon de Valera, and Countess Markievicz, among others.
It was a great day!
